My story on Cruiser Bike Culture appeared on the front page of The Tyee yesterday. Fun! AND the story was discussed on CBC Radio One this afternoon. (You can listen to an audio file by clicking the link on this page or visiting the Radio link on the right.) The CBC show is called Freestyle, and they’re working with The Tyee to promote a series entitled “Guilt Free Hedonist”. Listen to the audio file for more explanation on what that means. (WMA format, cause that's what's easy for me.) They just name me briefly at the very end of the segment, but I’ll take it! Speaking of audio files, I finally got around to digitizing that VERY old show I did on CBC Radio about Rock Paper Scissors. It’s also available for your listening pleasure on the Radio page. The quality’s a bit crap, but the recording is over a year old, and used to be on audio tape, so forgive me.
The March issue of ION also recently made it’s way into the world. I’m quite happy with my section this month. The only piece I wrote myself was about BobK and is available on the Art page, but one of the freelancers I used was…wait for it… D! And what a wicked job he did. I’m so proud. His story on Competitive Eating appears on the Misc. page.
In other news, I’ve posted last month’s advertorial and feature content from Vancouver View, so all that’s here if you’re looking for a nap but are allergic to wool. This month’s similar content will be forthcoming, but I haven’t gotten around to scanning it yet.
And finally finally finally, I’ve managed to post my Paris Hilton story at long last. I promised it ages ago, but what can I say? I’ve been in Rome. (Insert spoiled maniacal laughter here.)
Phew! Can you say whirlwind?
