Most of these chairs don't seem to come to any particular use. At the moment, I've taken to hoarding them in my basement. That said, one does occasionally make it to the makeover stage and ultimately finds a place to live in the above-ground world.
This is the story of just one such chair.
My sister just bought a house and isn't keen on non-essential expenses at the moment, so a three-year-old's desk chair wasn't high on her list of priorities. And I had my cottage-green chair and a can of spray paint just lying around...
I should have sanded and primed first but I decided that the chair would probably be treated rather roughly and that I should spend as little time, effort and cash on it as possible. Nonetheless, I'm very happy with the result.
Yellow is Kat's favourite colour so I am considering a yellow patterned cushion for the future, but in the meantime, I think she's okay with it as is. She's already using it.
You know, at her desk. To crunch the numbers and whatnot. Desk stuff. Very important.
