ALL ABOUT JEN
Don't be so humble. You are not that great. -  Golda Meir

JenSelk1Jen Selk is a writer, editor and ultra rad badass. She used to be a pop-culture journalist, but she has a real job now. She holds a SSHRC-funded Masters degree from the University of Toronto and is the former Arts and Culture Editor of ION Magazine. Her work has also appeared in Weekly Scoop, For Me, The Tyee, Vancouver View, Dose, The Vancouver Sun, The National Post, The Calgary Herald, The Regina Leader Post, and the Ottawa Citizen, and she has been a speaker on CBC radio and a "pop culture expert" on Cosmo TV. She is currently being featured as an After Show friend on MTV Canada and is also the Editor In Chief of AGENCY magazine, an online literary journal. Jen is listed in the Chum Diversity Database, and her poetry has appeared in TAR (The Antigonish Review) and FRONT magazine. She also sat for two years on the Board of Directors for the Western Magazine Awards Foundation. Jen resides in Toronto with her fish, Nathan.

She's written this bio in the third person because it’s far less embarrassing to talk about yourself when you pretend to be objective.
